Second Life (SL) is an online multimedia platform that allows people to create an avatar for themselves and have a second life in an online virtual world. SL is not so much a game in the usual sense as a virtual space with certain properties. There is no need to earn points, upgrade your character, there are no tasks inherent in ordinary games given by the plot.

How to join?

To participate in SL, you need to register an account on the official website of the game and download the viewer.

Second Life as a social network

For many people SL works as a social network where users can communicate with each other. Linden Lab encourages development in this direction by integrating user profiles with Twitter and Facebook. Second Life participants are united in numerous groups of the most diverse orientation, forming communities of interest.
